The first time I heard this song, the high tones Dany had in her voice immediately reminded me of Ann Wilson from "Heart" as well... And of course that's a compliment. As you get to know The Warning more you discover that they have several styles of rock but they are invariably pure rock!! And I continue to reaffirm my humble but very own opinion that with its structure, its cuts, transitions, rhythm changes, modulations, choruses, pre-choruses, drum attacks, its endings… All of this is masterful. The great beauty of their art is in its simplicity but all of this always seems to be at the right time and in the right way, bordering on perfection and predominating sophistication. There could always be other options, but the ones they chose seem to be the exact ones to create a masterpiece of art. Also impregnating everything with a natural touch of inevitable sensuality that only adds improvement and with the feeling, sensitivity and passion of their blood, race and culture. Each of its pieces can be very different, but always with all the TW flavor. It’s very clear that these sisters have no limits. They have that gift that only belongs to the geniuses that appear among us every certain period of time. This is the youngest veteran band in the rock world. Without forgetting that there are only three of them, yes, but three true geniuses in their field. Melodically they are the best, without a doubt. They are the queens of the hook, the riff, the key changes, the contagious rhythms, the catchy melodies, the sublime voices, the unbeatable harmonies and the ambiguous but deep and powerful messages. And this happens song after song… INCREDIBLE!! The new masters of rock: The warning. I suggest you reactions to the omv "Automatic Sun" from the "Tecate P'al Norte" festival with great studio audio and footage from the gig at the festival. Also "Evolve" from the MTV VMAs will make you get to know better the 3 different characters that make up this tremendous band. But, in addition, any video of TW in its presentation at the Metropólitan is excellent in sound and image. That is one of The Warning's style, all songs sound and are different but, you can always hear some elements from the 70s 80s and 90s. It is insane.

I've got a new young band for you. Freeze The Fall. Guitarist/vocalist Quinn, 17, discovered The Warning when she was 11, and taught herself guitar by learning Dany's parts from Queen Of The Murder Scene. Jonah, 16, drums, has been playing since he was 7, is inspired by Joey Jordison. Aria, bass, 15, is inspired by Dream Theater and Bring Me The Horizon. A band for 2 years, they are already signed to a promotion and distribution deal with Canada's largest independent label. They just released their first ep, Thrones. The Warning really are one of the very few who make good studio albums, but are even better live. I can tell you not only do you hear the bass live, but it hits you like a truck. I just got back from seeing them last week in Nottingham, Liverpool, and Dublin. They are just fantastic live. I will keep traveling to see them. "Disciple" or "Dust to Dust" from Teatro Metropolitan would be good next tracks

I like and appreciate that you DO put effort into trying to decipher the meaning of the songs. If you decide to react to another song the The Warning's "Keep Me Fed" album, you could also react to DPA's (Dany, Pau & Ale) brief description of the song and how they created it. from recently created videos on their THE WARNING channel to go along with each song. It would be interesting to see if you are right. You were not far off, it is about the music industry and touring. The many people dream of being in a band and touring, and while they LOVE performing and interacting with the crowd, they also mention that it is hard work and hellish at time.

This song is actually about stage fright. It was inspired by the stress that Paulina and Daniela feel before a performance. I say those two because it is known that Alejandra (the bass player) never frets before a show. While one can say the song has applicability, in reality it is about stage fright and the stress that builds up before a performance. The hell is that, the pressure to perform, but knowing that is part of the dream life they are living

TWA some call it The Warning Army. I call it The Warning Addiction because they hook you right off the bat. I’m also glad you noticed the power similarity reminding you of Ann Wilson from Heart, with Dani. Difference? Dani owns the stage with conviction, presence, confidence and connection with her audience. The three, Dani vocals and guitar, Pau vocals and drums plus Ale bass and backup vocals have their own style on stage and capture the audience with their personalities. All are beautiful to top it off.

Live is where to go. You saw the Six Feet Deep video, (great video), but compare it to a live version. You will see (hear) the difference.

They just played at Pol’andRock festival. Any of the songs that they performed there are amazing. There are proshot videos of the entire concert on RUclips. Dany’s voice was extra amazing!

As many here have already said The Warning are without a doubt best live And one of their best live performances is the Teatro Metropolitan show....22 songs and great production as well. If it were me, I'd just start with their opening song 'Z' and just go song by song through the entire concert. Nice reaction!

Most of us older folks in TWA buy the records and CDs to support the band, but we want to see them perform. Disciple live from Teatro Metropolitan CDMX shows Dany and Pau trading vocals. Heart is the best company to be in as they are the queens of rock. I would also recommend the band Plush if you love Heart. ❤️⚡🤘

I very much agree that Dany from The Warning has a voice that reminds me a lot of early Ann Wilson :) I think that The Warning actually sound *better* live. They're phenomenally good in studio too, mind you, but their live performances are just on a whole different level. One of the best things about The Warning's lyrics is that they take care to craft them such that they are open to a fairly wide degree of alternate interpretations. In this song's case, they've said it's mostly about the pressures of being such a popular and hard-touring live band. The dream is the performance on stage in front of their fans, the hell is everything that must be endured in order *to* get to that stage and perform in front of their fans...

Excellent reaction/analysis/breakdown! This song is about all the work it takes from their meteoric rise to the top: 108 shows in 2022, 86 shows in 2023, already around 60 shows this year. Plus, they recorded their new album in between all the touring, not to mention all the music videos. They have toured North American 2 times, Europe 2 times, Japan, South America, and Mexico. Basically they have worked nonstop for the last 10 years. You got it right towards the end of your analysis! 🤘☺️❤️

The song is about touring but that is the fun, love and brilliance of music! We can find our own meaning in great songs and have different interpretations. Great music is art and The Warning are true rock artists… I have said on other music reactions of them that Dany (guitarist) is the heart, Pau (drummer) is the fire and Ale (bassist) is the foundation. They are rock’s future and they are here now!
